LPG Bobtail Maintenance Guidelines
1. Refilling Capability
Equipped with retractable refilling hose (standard length: 15 meters) and stainless steel soft pipe for loading/off-loading.
Suitable for refilling cylinder bottles of various sizes or fueling LPG-powered vehicles.
2. Tank Construction & Safety
Fabricated with certified pressure vessel materials such as Q345R, Q370R, and 16MnDR.
Undergoes non-destructive testing (NDT), heat treatment, hydrostatic and pneumatic tests.
Each unit is inspected by the Bureau of Technical Supervision and comes with official pressure vessel inspection certificates.
3. Pump System
Integrated vane pump or Y-type centrifugal pump for reliable pressurized LPG delivery.
Ensures steady, efficient flow rate for refilling operations.
4. Pipeline System
Uses seamless steel pipes for fixed pipelines and steel wire braided rubber hoses for flexible connections.
Avoids right-angle joints to reduce flow resistance.
All joints are tightly welded with "O" ring seals; damaged seals must be replaced promptly to avoid leakage risks.
No hammering or knocking of tank body and pipe fittings is allowed to prevent sparks or accidents.
5. Surface Coating & Anti-Corrosion
Advanced anti-corrosion coating applied via sand blasting, rust removal, spraying and purging.
Ensures long service life and resilience under harsh weather and road conditions.
