Slurry Seal Truck

Slurry Seal Trucks are specialized construction vehicles that combine the functions of material mixing, transport, and paving. Equipped with continuous-flow or truck-mounted pavers, they accurately proportion and deliver asphalt emulsion, aggregate, and water through a multi-blade or double-shafted mixer to produce a uniform slurry mixture.
The slurry is then applied to road surfaces using a spreader box, ensuring even distribution and proper texturing with the help of augers and drags. Some units are truck-mounted, loading materials at stockpiles before returning for refills, while continuous-run pavers use nurse trucks to resupply materials without stopping the paving process—improving efficiency and reducing construction joints.
Modern slurry seal trucks can also handle modified asphalt slurry seal (micro surfacing), making them versatile for high-grade highways, urban roads, and pavement preservation projects. Their primary benefits include sealing cracks, restoring skid resistance, waterproofing the surface, and extending pavement life with minimal traffic disruption.
